Background info: . I was introduced to super heroes as a young boy, thanks to the X-Men animated series on Fox Kids. In kindergarten, while other kids wanted to grow up to be doctors, I wanted to be Nightcrawler. Now Nightcrawler is dead, so I’m glad things didn’t work out.

Why did you start writing comics?: My occupational desires have never been overly realistic. In fact, I think “comic writer” is about the most down-to-Earth goal I’ve ever had. Which isn’t saying much.
