Background info: There’s nothing I love more than comics, movies and science fiction. As a comic shop owner and regular contributor to local entertainment papers and magazines, I’ve been deeply immersed in pop culture for over twenty years.
As a storyteller, I believe it’s my job to write any character in any genre and make it great. I always envied Stan Lee’s ability to pepper an epic tale with social and political relevance while never getting preachy and always entertaining the reader. My influences (in no particular order): Ray Bradbury, Jack Kirby, Robert Heinlein, Robert E. Howard, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Alan Moore, Jack London, Al Feldstein, Mark Millar, Denny O’Neil & many others…
Why did you start writing comics?: I’d like to create the same sense of wonderment, horror, inspiration, etc. for others that I experienced from reading my favorite stories.

Interesting fact: I have four family members that played in the National Football League (three uncles and one cousin). But my Grandmother is the only one who made it to the Hall of Fame–she was named NFL Mother of the Year in the early ’80′s!
