Background info: I’ve been reading comics since I walked past a “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” window display in Brooklyn, NY at the tender age of five or six. I’m a middle school teacher and a freelance sports writer who contributes regularly to Seamheads.com. I’m not only a writer, but a colorist as well.
Why did you start writing comics?: Creating comics has been a curiosity of mine since elementary school, when I would scribble pages upon pages of poorly proportioned figures with literally no sense of composition or anatomy. I love being able to picture a scene in my head, describe it clearly enough in writing, and then watch it bloom into full-fledged reality. This process is only available in a medium like comics.

Interesting fact: My go-to Halloween costume is Clark Kent changing into Superman. A white button-down, an undone tie, some variable accessories, a Superman T-shirt, and I’m good to go.
